1. My teachers told me to send them a packet of information about me so they can write me an LOR!. But I wanted to use interfolio!. I heard that with interfolio you wont be able to see the letters that they wrote? how do I get around this because I dont want to use a letter from a teacher who is going to write like 2 sentences. I want to know whats in the letter

2. ALso I got a hardcopy from 2 doctors, How do I send those in? Anyone know how to get around this!

3. What if the letters that are hardcopies, they are not signed? Can I just sign them myself even tho the doctors have given them to me!

My Goal: send out all the letters to the schools but I want to read them before they get sent out!

You aren't supposed to read them, they are supposed to be anonymous. You kind of have to guess which profs are writing you a strong LOR. Some ppl may let you read them, but most won't.

I think the doctors were supposed to either scan+ upload letter to interfolio or mail it to them. I don't think you can submit them directly yourself, because technically they are supposed to be anonymous. But idk how interfolio enforces this.

You can't sign it yourself and say a doctor signed it, that would be considered forgery.

1: Simple. If you need two copies from each in a sealed envelope, tell them you need three. That leaves one for you! 😎

2: Go onto interfolio's website; there's info on it there. You print off a sheet with a barcode or something and mail it with the letter then they assign that letter to your file. You might have to have the doc sign that barcode sheet though?

3: Uh, no. Politely call back and ask them to sign the letter (but be careful; if you weren't supposed to read the letter you shouldn't "know" they're unsigned). If that's the case just call them to "verify" that it was hand signed.

non-confidential letters aren't given any weight. you aren't supposed to see them. but it isn't going to matter if you can't raise your AAMC MCAT practice scores higher than 7 (as a total, not per section).

We are being trolled. go away.

Also i want to add some professors will only use interfolio or amcas. One of my profs won't give hard copies for the exact reason that you may just request extra and read it.

Another prof of mine said if i needed any mailed out to just send him the addresses and he will have then mailed out himself.

There are ways to get around and read your letters, but i would advise against it. If you have reason to believe your teacher won't write you a good letter, then you probably shouldn't be requesting one from them.

Obvious troll is obvious. And if he's not and is this ******ed, he doesn't deserve to go to medical school.

Thanks to those that contributed towards the answering of this quick question. For those that have the trolling problems, go troll somewhere else because when you become a "Doctor" are you going be "trolling" at your patients when they ask you a dumb question in which you obviously know and they obviously don't know.

I got an 31 buddy on my AAMC #7 (PS 9, VB:12, BS: 10). Not classy to bash.

if I have a student that asks me for a LOR with and tells me that they haven't completed content review of chemistry and physics and that they skimmed bio and got a 7 on their practice test, I would ask them if they took the prereqs. If they said no, I would say, "stop trolling, it is way to early." If they said yes, i would spit in their face and say, "stop trolling and get out of medicine because if you got a 7 after you took are your prereqs, you are way too stupid to go into medicine."

but this is COMPLETELY hypothetical. I am not talking about you at all, just making up a situation I saw elsewhere. and you can edit your own previous posts but not other peoples. If you are telling me that you got a 31 on your AAMC #7, and a 7 on your AAMC #3 within the past week, I am calling complete BS and sticking to my trolling comment.

So quit trolling and do something useful.

Right, so you forgot to mention this one and chose to mention the 7 you scored on #3?

My patients are allowed to be stupid, although for their own sake I hope now. My potential colleagues do not have that privilege. It takes serious stupidity to think you can sign documents for doctors and to get a total of 7. I think I can do better by guessing alone. I still hold you're a troll, but I guess you got me to feed you.
