quick hole punch question

hey guys,

quick question regarding holepunching..so i stumbled on this problem where the paper was folded in half, and in the next image, there is simple a horizontal line through it. does this just mean that the paper was folded in half again but was folded back?

lol totally strange, if it was a fold it would show which part was folded over by showing a missing portion there. Idn what's going on there.
