Hi guys. I want to submit my application on or around the June 1st AADSAS opening date. My DAT is scheduled for July 15th. My teachers who I have asked for letters of rec are wondering when the deadline should be for the letters. Do I tell them June 1st so I can submit everything and just wait on my DAT Score? Or should I tell them the letter can be submitted by July because my DAT won't be taken until mid july anyways. This leaves less pressure on them to write the letter.

In other words, can I submit an AADSAS without all my letters being in and have them added to my file as they are completed, or should I give my professors a June 1st deadline so I can submit on time. I would rather have them have more time to write without feeling pressured though

You can submit your AADSAS without having your LOR or DAT score. It will take AADSAS 4-6 weeks to process the application. So it will make no difference whether your LOR are in on June 1st or July 15th (except peace at mind). Dental schools won't even look at your application until they have everything. So if you aren't taking your DAT till July 15th your LOR don't need to be in till then anyway. No immediate rush on the letters but keep following up with them so they do get them in in a timely manner.
