Just wanted everyone's opinion on the hierarchy of EMR systems for pain management. Would you agree with this? If not, please explain why.


Athena > Epic > eCW > Allscripts > others
 
I know at least a dozen docs who do not like Athena or are changing.

That doesn't sound like to stuff of a number 1

Honestly, I don't think any of them are ideal but Athena is definitely the most costly.

I am an ECW user.
 
we use Athena in our multi specialty ortho group, well-liked by most. I despise ECW, to the point that I’d probably be dissuaded from a job if that were the EMR. Epic is good, all scripts solid 3rd place.

Why specifically do you hate ecw
I am a solo doctor thinking of changing to ecw
