just curious- how many of you that got in off the waitlist contacted the admissions committee or dean with extra LORs, LOI, phone calls, emails, etc??? please vote- and if you have the time elaborate on the volume of your efforts. thanks!!
i didn't know but know of people who did. one person faxed in a withdrawal letter from a similar nyc school (accepted) along with a letter of intent to matric. he was accepted the next morning. as with all things anecdotal - could be worthless.
