I was wondering if this experience would be worth mentioning when I do my application down the road.
My husband has a lot of medical issues and some of them are neurological. His neurologist he was seeing before I started school again knew I was very interested in medicine and was very enthusiastic about encouraging my interest.
Now what I was thinking may be worth mentioning was that my husband needed to have an LP done to rule out a couple of conditions and his doctor invited me to basically shadow him through the procedure and teach me about what he was doing.
I am not sure if this would count as any sort of clinical experience but it was a great experience that I took a lot away from both in knowledge and making me want to pursue medicine more.

Sorry if this is a very silly question, still working my way around figuring out the EC requirements and entire process.

that's not an EC but you can talk about your husband in your personal statement in regards to "why medicine?"

It might be ok to discuss how this started or nurtured your interest in medicine but you need to be careful that you don't come across as someone who wants to cure their loved one or whose interest is limited to neurology.
