Quick Q about NBME practice tests...

What is the "correct" order to do the NBME practice exams? I remember people suggesting doing 2,1,3, then 4 (closeer to the actual exam date)...is this about right? Also, anyone have a link where I can actually take these exams online?

just so other SDNers (who haven't heard of the significance of the order) can also benefit, would anybody mind explaining what is so important in doing them in this specific order?

I did them in the order 4,1,2,3. incidently, my best performance was in NBMEs 3 and 4. is that why people suggest they do them last?

It seems (based on looking through the threads) that most people find 3 and 4 to be the most difficult. And there have been a number of people stating that those 2 most closely approximated their actual score on the exam.

yea i found 3 and 4 to be the most representative if what the actual usmle was, so i like to do those last. while nbme 1 and 2 were easier compared to 3 and 4.
