Hey,

It's the the craze of the fourth years right now!! Scary, scary times....

I was wondering, are most interviews one on one, or are they a panel, where three or four people interview you at the same time...

the weird things that keep me up at night.

thanks!

Everyone that I had was one-on-one. I don't think there are places that have a panel interview (at least I don't remember hearing about any).

Most places have 3 or 4 people that you will interview with. One was a little excessive and had 6 people we had to talk to, I don't remember which program that was though. (I obviously didn't rank them high)

Usually one of the people you will talk to will be the program director or at least the associate program director. Some programs will have the chair there doing interviews.

Relax though...you have nothing to worry about because they should all be pretty laid back. One PD had us pick out a CD to play during the interview (and it wasn't a psychological test). However, there is one place that has a mock case you need to go through with an ECG....but I thought it was an easy straight forward case not to test knowledge, but just to see how you think. Hopefully they've gotten rid of that for this year because I think it deters a lot of people from what I think is a nice program.

Good luck!!!
