Quick question about a rec letter

Hey guys im a junior at u michigan and i had a question about a letter i got from a doctor in india. I job shadowed her for 3 weeks in the maternity ward of an indian hospital. She wrote out a letter which basically listed all the procedures i saw but i have seen the letter so it cant be a rec letter right? I was wondering where i could include it in my app? Id really appreciate any help.
