I've actually never heard the term "semi-hydrophobic," but logically that makes sense...?
 
TBR had them like that. But I just wanted to make sure before I implanted that fact into my brain and later find out it isn't right and bash my head against the wall numerous times (personal experience, can you tell?)
Oh, really! Is this TBR Bio? Haha it's better to be safe than sorry but I'm no expert!
 
I am just reading about that chapter as well in the OChem II book.. I think by semi-hydrophobic they mean the polar uncharged group?:shrug:
