I've actually never heard the term "semi-hydrophobic," but logically that makes sense...?

TBR had them like that. But I just wanted to make sure before I implanted that fact into my brain and later find out it isn't right and bash my head against the wall numerous times (personal experience, can you tell?)

I am just reading about that chapter as well in the OChem II book.. I think by semi-hydrophobic they mean the polar uncharged group?
