Hey guys, I've tried searching for the answer for my questions but can't seem to find it.

I know the fees for primaries for up to 14 schools are waived and that they said the schools are notified that we are economically disadvantaged. How do I find out which schools will waive/reduce secondary fees?

And for AACOMAs, is it taking them extremely long to process the documentation for anyone else? AAMC gave it to me within the week and AACOMAs is pushing on 3 weeks now.

Almost all schools waive the secondary. The only one that didn't was Tulane, and they just give you a discount.

I also applied for the AACOMAs waiver, and it took forever and they replied that all the waiver money was exhausted.

Aw poop...I was finished with my primaries for DO schools and have delayed sending it for the past month because I was trying to get the fee waiver. And I'm assuming MD schools just waive it for you and you don't have to do anything extra (letters, extra documentation, etc)?

Yes, the MDs all will be automatically waived when they send you a secondary.

For DO, it sounded like I qualified but I just got the email last week after over a month of waiting stating that they do not have money left for fee waivers and not all qualified people will received them, which kind of sounds like BS to me because you'd think they would just not charge you instead of having "allocated money" for fee waivers.

Short term benefits? It relieves stress.

Stress relief is indeed a benefit, but fapping has it's dangers too. Excessive fapping has been known to lead to untoward hair growth.

This was the message I got from AACOMAS:

"Despite an increase in funds made available for waivers by AACOM this year, all funds for this admissions cycle have been exhausted. We regret that we are unable to grant your request at this time."

This explains everything. source?

Yea it does sound like complete BS, but then again, they only cover 3 schools, not too much of a difference if you're applying to many.
