I just got my application verified today after e-submitting on the 1st of this month. My question is: What's the GPA that schools take into account, the one including the +/- or the other one? I am a bit confused about it. Thanks.

I think it depends on the school. Some look at the without +/- as more of a standard (like if some schools don't offer +/- grading scales then the without levels the playing field). Just my understanding of it

Thanks, I guess it makes sense. I'm just curious....when people say their GPAs here, are they referring to the +/- or the other one?

My guess is that generally, people use whichever one is higher! 😀

Since they have access to both, I think they will consider both. Like what's previously been said, they will probably weigh the without +/- GPA slightly more because of normalization, but again they will physically have access to both. They definitely won't turn a blind eye to either.
