My PS is all finished...I think...but I have gotten some recent input that it is a bit too informal. Is it a bad thing if it is too informal? I may just start one of those, "will your read my ps for me please" threads. Thanks for the input!
 
It's ımpossıble to answer your questıon wıthout actually readıng your PS fırst. I say thıs because I'm certaın there have been amazıng but faırly ınformal PS wrıtten and loved, and on the flıp sıde ones that have been ınbetween or formal and have been awful and made adcoms thınk WTF.

As such, I thınk you should defınıtely shoot your questıon posed by thıs thread along wıth your PS for a readıng by any who mıght volunteer ın thıs thread ıtself or to one of the revıewers mentıoned ın thıs PS Revıewer thread:

By definition, if it's "too x", that is bad.

I would err on the side of formality; avoid contractions, slang, etc etc.
