Quick question about using Interofolio

When using Interfolio, do I check the box for a "General Recommendation" or "Specific Position or Opportunity"? Thanks

I might be remembering the whole process wrong, but wasn't there an option specific for AADSAS? Or maybe that was the form..

No, there is just an option for general recommendation or recommendation for a specific position. It also asked you for a description. What am I suppose to put for this?

I just sent a recommendation request yesterday and selected the "specific position" option. In the position description I put Dental School. I figured that would remind my letter writer to incorporate some reasons that I would fare well in Dental School instead of only talking about how I performed as a student. Just my suggestion!

I just put General Recommendation, but I do not think this matters all that much. I think it is so you can keep track of your letters in your Interfolio account and know who wrote you letters for what (in case you use Interfolio for other jobs/opportunities; or if you use the same person as a letter writer to write you a dental school letter AND a letter for some scholarship - you are able to clarify which is which). I think the main thing that matters is that you select that it is a Confidential letter and requires a signature. That's my best guess!
