Trying to budget for the year here. The $2250 we pay for VitalBook during first year -- is that broken into two equal payments each semester, or is it all up-front?

And while I'm at it, what about the fees ($1032) and instruments ($4432)?

Thanks 🙂

I'm haven't looked closely at my bill since last year, but I am pretty sure you pay 1/2 in the fall and 1/2 in the winter loan disbursment.

What? I think Vital book only costs 2k

the bill they sent says $2050

They sent us a bill...?

wow, need to link your nyu email to your regular email accounts( i get all my NYU mail to my hotmail without ever visiting the nyu site.)

the bill is due the 11th of Aug. Everything is up front. Atlas, vitalbook, and instuments.

I spoke with NYU - Vital book cost around 4K. Other 2k will be charged during the D3 year.

Heh, thanks for the heads-up. I saw that email but never got around to looking at the bill.

My amount due is a negative value, so I'm assuming NYU gets my loan disbursements, takes their cut, and passes the rest on to me. I'm on hold right now with the finaid office trying to find out if they send us a check or if we can have it direct deposited. Anyone know off hand?

EDIT: Nevermind, finally got through and found out.

^ what he said.

you will rarely ever use it...professors have their own slides/lectures....dean speilman will make a fuss about using vitabook for a few of the lectures he teaches because he doesn't want others to complain about how useless vitabook is, and a rip off

From what I have heard Vital book is used as a reference and has a substitute ...yes a substitute - wikipedia.

Others have said it and I imagine that its true, Vitalbook is useful after graduation. When you're on your own trying to remember everything you can just search it real quick on Vbook.
