quick question on AACOMAS

is it possible to fill out the aacomas just to see the calculated gpa?
if so, how does it work..do i just need to input all the course work/grades and the application generates a gpa for me to see?

AACOMAS doesn't open for a few more months. The actual GPA that they calculate for you isn't revealed to you until all your transcripts/grades are verified. There is an AACOMAS Grade Calculator excel spreadsheet floating around this forum somewhere... A search would be a great place to start. The AACOMAS FAQ will help answer which classes are included in the science GPA if you want to calculate it on your own.

thanks for the info. just one more thing: how accurately does the Grade Calculator excel spreadsheet predict GPA? does it generate the same GPA as the AACOMAS?

Honestly, just bang it out by hand. That's what I did. I never used that excel spreadsheet, I just made my own.

If you do it correctly, it will be exactly the same. Just remember that DO schools offer grade replacement and there is no math. Other than that, you should be able to get accurate. Worst case, close.
