Just an M1 here, but school is already sending us emails about STEP 1 material and acting like if we don't order now we're behind. I feel like they're just freaking us out for no reason, but I wanted to make sure. Is it to early to start worry about this? Do people use this along with their classes?

Here is what they are offering basically:

Step 1 Qbank Program
Includes 2 full length exams, mobile app and more. Until your test access (12+months)
High Yield Program
High Yield video lectures delivered in less than 50 hours, clinical videos, 600 color image, etc + USMLE Step I Qbank
Step 1 Online Prep with Qbank
Web-based access to over 200 hours of on-demand video lectures plus , Qbank and seven volumes of Kaplan Level 1 lecture notes. Until your test access.

$1400 for all of it... :/

Getting overwhelmed worrying about this ATM, because I'm trying my best just to stay caught up with the class material. So basically should i worry about this yet to study for step and/or to use with my classes? and if so is this even a good package or are there better options?

Sorry for the long post..feeling kinda lost. Any insight would be great!

P.S in the process of reading old threads, but haven't had much time so sorry if this has been answered

The same discounts will be around 2nd year, the only thing I recommend for first year is pathoma and first aid as far as board material goes. Rx is also a good question bank to use before exams, other than that I wouldn't go nuts buying this stuff until second year.

I agree with @dr.sartorius I would just worry about my classes and try to do your best to learn as much material as you can from your classes. You'll be surprised as to how much material tested on the boards is things you already know from class. First Aid is useful to follow along with your classes, but other than that I would just wait till it's time for boards. Pathoma alongside taking path is also useful. I did the section in pathoma before I went to class and found it to be very useful.

Lol @ $1400. Don't buy a package provided by your school unless your school happens to have an outrageous step 1 average every year. Read the threads on SDN about the best prep resources to use and go from there.
