Quick question regarding coursework

I attended a community college then transferred. When I finished, I took a few courses again at the same community college to finish my degree. (needed an art course and a basic English course)

If the application asks when I attended the community college, would I put the initial date and the date when I finished the other courses?

Would it look strange because that would seem like I went to the community college for 4-5 years?

Yeah that's what you do, as far as I know. You have to input courses by term, so they'll see the big gap (also on your transcript) and figure it out. Shouldn't be a problem!
