Pretty sure this is a dumb question, but here goes: When we say cGPA, does this mean non-science gpa + science gpa, or is it JUST non science GPA. For example, my non science GPA is a 3.45, but my cumulative (with both science classes and other classes) is 3.25. Thanks in advance for the clarification.

yeah cGPA is everything combined

Ugh thats lame. Do they at least look at improvement? I went from a 2.6 sgpa sophomore year to a 3.5 this year...

😕

cGPA is cumulative. I'm not sure it's possible that your cumulative GPA would go up from 2.6 to 3.5 in a year (you would have had to take something like twice as many hours junior year at an average of 4.4). Double check the math there. 4 for A, 3.67 for A-, 3.33 for B+, etc etc, each multiplied by the hours then divided by the total.

They do look at improvement to some extent; it's neither neglected nor the whole story.

I meant my BCPM gpa for sophomore year was a 2.6 (for that year only) and in junior year it was 3.5. Not overall, just for those individual years.

Gotcha. That makes more sense.
