Just had a question i have had on my mind since i started school. After a test or exam, do you still study the material or do you wait till finals to look at it again. Also whats a good timeline to start studying for exams so you know the stuff really good.

I try to learn it very well the first time and then review it before the final.

How soon before depends on:

1. How much time you have
2. How much is on the final
3. How well you learned it before hand.

I usually do not study the material again until finals. However, before a test, I typically have collected lecture notes, typed notes from the book, and made comprehensive study guides so that when finals do come, it's really easy to jump back into the material.

It's a good idea, no matter what your study style is, to make it as easy on yourself as possible to study for the final.
