Sorry, I just need a quick answer for a simple question (too many posts to drudge through).

When submitting update letters of recommendation, should they be submitted directly to the medical school, or to AMCAS? (Asking this because AMCAS letter service is relatively new, but the schools that do employ it seem to strictly stick with it and do not want letters from anywhere else).

If to the school, then is it pretty much just the letter with my info (name, AMCAS ID) sealed and signed in an envelope and then sent directly to the admissions office?

Thank you!

I am a current applicant and I have already sent in my primary set of letters to AMCAS last year.

This new rec letter would be part of an "update letter/letter of interest" to schools I have already applied at.
