For the CAN DO amalgam there - Yes
in theory and in tests yes.
But for the should you - not that sure coz your patient will prefer composite there.
The thing to consider about MO on mand.1st premolar is the pulpal floor and the access to it. Remember you have to have the plane a bit tilted lingually not to cut into the pulp horns Hope it helps.
