what did you guys use for quizzing yourself along the way for biology? I want to save destroyer for the end when I finish all the reading but I feel like I should be doing practice questions to test my knowledge as I go. Also any advice on DAT studying would be appreciated, thanks in advance!

Don't know what you are using for Biology, but if you're using Cliff's, there are end of the chapter questions. Also, there are 2 full length AP exams at the end of the book (200 total questions) that will prep you will for the DAT.

You should be doing Destroyer questions now. It is a mammoth and expect to only answer 20% correctly the first time through. Therefore, it's good to start early to learn the material.

really you think I should start now? and go through it as I am finishing up reading cliffs? Right now I am reading through cliffs and KBB at the same time.

Cliff, kaplan, datqvault, and campbell reece bio book. Avoid Destroyer, just a waste of time and a majority of people on this forum who have taken the DAT would agree. And honestly, bio is so broad that you can only review. There's not really a point in learning in depth or weird random questions that you'll probably not see, just have a strong and broad foundation.
