I was just wondering if you re-apply does AMCAS save all of your information from the previous cycle or do you have to enter everything (grades, EC's, etc) all over again?

yeah... it really sucks. You also have to re-send all of your transcripts, even if they didn't change from last year. So that means paying all those transcript fees all over again (which sucked for me b/c I went to 3 different undergrad schools)👎thumbdown they really should change that policy

The username and password are the same, but you have to re-enter all the information when the new application becomes available.

This. Sorry.

What I'd do is just copy all the written stuff into a WordPad notebook. That way the formatting won't get all screwy like it would if you used Word. As far as the classes, there's not much you can do about it. 🙁

It's something I'd love for them to fix, but you're stuck doing it again if you don't get in during a cycle. 👎thumbdown👎

Really? I'm a reapplicant. I did not have to fill out the course grades section again. Everything was still entered as it was for my previous application. I just added on new courses/grades that I had completed. But everything else, including the PS and EC sections, were blank. Not sure if this is an anomaly? If so, I'm glad it worked out that way for me.
