Hi guys,
Taking test tomorrow, bought first aid this wknd...my question is about the workup part of the PN.
Seems like the goal in the ddx is to just fill up the 5 slots, no matter how unlikely the 3rd-5th items are.
So...once you have that ddx, should the proposed workup address all things on that ddx?
Also, and perhaps more importantly, when can you write two things on one line?
For example, in first aid there's often a "1. Pelvic /Rectal exam". But is it cosher to do "1. Pelvic exam with cultures, wet mount, KOH prep, GC/Chlam PCR", or "1. CBC with Diff, Smear, and Blood cx"? What are the limits as to what can be grouped together?
Thanks
