Quick/Urgent Academic Update Question

Hi guys,

I wanted to send in my summer grades for the academic update today as we are inching closer to Dec 1 and maybe schools having my updated grades would make a difference...? Idk, I'm super stressed as all of us are and I'm trying to do everything within my control for my app.

However I had a question. I called AADSAS and they're closed today, so I was wondering if one of you could help me out. You all may recall that when initially applying we had to submit a Transcript Request Form for each of our undergraduate institutions, which would be accompanied with each of our transcripts.

When we are having transcripts sent for new summer/fall grades, is it necessary to include a Transcript Request Form? I looked up the official Academic Update FAQ and I didn't see any mention of this so reaching out on here.

I think it's safe to say that the Transcript Request Form is necessary for your new grades. If you're concerned about timing, then scan a filled out copy to your school's registrar and have them submit it with the printed out form. I did that previously and it was still accepted by AADSAS. Do that first, immediately, and then call AADSAS about your concerns the next time that they're available.

You do not even need a transcript request form. I was told that by one of their reps on the phone. Go to your school's website and have an official copy sent to AADSAS directly. Update your courses on the portal accordingly and hit e-submit.

You can only e-submit ONCE! If you have fall grades yet to release or plan on winter courses, you should wait and then e-submit it all at once. Deadline isn't until February.
