I tried doing a search, but I didn't have any luck trying to find the answer. I am going to apply this coming June and I am writting my PS now. My question is what is the length limit (for the primary apps. not the secondary)? And if there are any prompts or issues that need to be addressed? I know this question is lame... Sorry
Thanks ahead of time.

I think it is 1000 words, or maybe 600. AMCAS and ACOMAS are different I can't remember which one is longer. I'd shoot for 500 words thats a pretty good start.

Thanks and that icon is hillarious

aacomas is 500 words or 3,000 characters, which ever you hit first I guess

Even though you called me mean names in another thread for no apparent reason, I will answer you. AACOMAS limit is 500 words, it is pretty short. Also, it will let you type more and then tell you you went over when you click the button, so be careful. Oh, and when you are finished, it will bunch it all into one long paragraph, so don't waste time trying to make the paragraphs look all neat, and don't worry, everybody's looks like that. Be careful with hard returns, they cost you 2 spaces, so do not use the return key. I would mostly just include a brief history and your motivation for being a DO. You will be able to address everything else on your secondaries. Good Luck!

Thank you everyone for all your help.

Medic, good memory. I only said that because I thought you were being rude. I guess I didn't need to say that because it didn't help anything, so I am sorry. And thanks for the detailed reply it helps a lot.

Did not mean anything rude in that thread, maybe you just interpreted me that way 😉 No hard feelings and good luck!

My B. Good Luck to you in Michigan... I'm jealous.
