Question: Which element in the oxygen group has the fewest properties in common with oxygen?

A: Sulfur
B: Selenium
C: Tellurium
D: Polonium
E: Arsenic

I put Arsenic because the other four elements are in the same group as oxygen but the answer is Polonium. Is it the wording thats tricking me here in that it says "FEWEST PROPERTIES"? I guess if its fewest properties it would be Polonium because it is on the bottom of the group and Arsenic does not share any properties at all.

I'm inclined to say you're right. Polonium and Oxygen share the same amount of electron in their outermost shell. So, assuming you're right about Arsenic sharing no properties at all, then it's definitely a difficulty worded question. However, i'm not 100% positive.

Yeah I ran into the same problem as you for this question. In my opinion, the wording on this question is a bit tricky and sort of unfair lol but I think they justify Polonium as the correct answer because it is the element WITHIN oxygen's group that shares the least amount of properties with oxygen.

Basically Arsenic wouldn't even come into play because it's not in oxygen's group and therefore doesn't fit the criteria that the question is asking.

Don't get bogged down too much with Qvault's OC and GC sections though! Although they are good practice, they're also known to be a bit blahhh for the chem sections 🙂

thank you both for your reply. i'm glad its just a poorly worded question and me not knowing something (i have a week left!).

btw..batman, what about the bio section of qvault? i've gone through destroyer a bunch of times and took notes on the areas i'm weak in from cliffs but i haven't been able to get over a 20 on qvault bio. my average is about a 19 or so.

yeah same with me for bio qvault. I've done destroyer twice and read cliffs twice too but I think the highest I've gotten is a 20...thank god we're both in the same boat! I've read past posts of people who did well on the real dat bio and used qvault and they averaged around the same for bio too so I'm hoping we're in good shape!

how are your chemistries averaging? mine are 21 or so for gc but oc is a 19-20 :/ so i'm scared about that!

yeah, definitely in the same boat. i got 20's on the first two bios but since then its been a steady dose of 18's and 19's hopefully we can kill the real bio.

and my gc and orgo averages are the same as yours too! lol. i'm just using qvault as practice for the chems. my main source for gc and orgo has been destroyer. i'm trying to nail that down as well as possible.
