R.I.P. Steve Jobs

not the smartest, not the most ruthless, not the luckiest - maybe the best combination of all three. his work changed my life.

I was watching sitcoms last night when NBC interrupted he broadcast with a "Special Report". For a few seconds there, I thought we had bombed another country, or the dow tanked to 5,000 or something.

Instead, they announced Steve Jobs' death.

I couldn't really think of anyone else who has received that announcement, save high-ranking govt officials and maybe Michael Jackson. Or maybe they do it all the time, I'm just not watching that much TV. Either way, the man has undoubtedly influenced our culture, and his legacy will last for some time. Read something the other day about a researcher who studied 20 toddlers that were between 14-20 mo. old. Gave them an iPhone, observed that in short time they each instinctively swiped the screen.

RIP, Steve.
