I have an R squared of .07 with a p value of 0.03. Is this good enough for submission?

The p value is significant.
The R square...is it really 0.07 or u meant 0.7?
irrespective..it depends on the kind of data u presenting.
If your hypothesis is that there is no difference between God and the devil and your p value comes as o.5555 even that would be an interesting finding. Becos p of 0.5555 means there is no difference. U get the drift?

In other words, 0.07 means very, very little variance is explained by whatever you were investigating. But maybe that in and of itself is significant.
