Hi guys,

I've been invited for an interview at a local medical school ( neuro dept) for an Research assistant 1 position. Performing immunoprecipitation and immunobiochem techniques is part of the job description.
I have only done one semester of molecular biology and once semester of immunology at med school.

For anyone is research, can you advise me, seen as its a ra-1 position, will i be trained for all of this or will this knowledge be expected of me.

any suggestions of websites i could browse?

much appreciated

this depends on the lab. you'll find out at the interview. you can only be honest about what you know and don't know, but even if you've never done any of the techniques, you can emphasize that you're a fast learner (if you are) because honestly monkeys can do simple bench work.
