Hey All,
Do you know if there is a list anywhere of the states that require a race and ethnicity course? I know MA does, but what other states do?

Do you know if there is a list anywhere of the states that require a race and ethnicity course? I know MA does, but what other states do?

Would this be a course above and beyond, or similar to, one focusing on multicultural issues? If the latter, then I'm not sure about the state licensure level, but I believe APA accreditation requires doctoral programs to either have a stand-alone multicultural class or to prove that an equal/adequate amount of time is spent on multicultural issues in other required classes.
