Race / Ethnic Description on application for Arabs?

OK, I know I have been creating a lot of threads but this is a concern to me. I am middle eastern but I am not sure what I would put down. Some people claim that arabs are white/caucasians and others say to put down "other" and write/type in middle eastern. I really want to make sure I have the right choice down because I believe I am a minority and all. Would it be wrong to put Other and say "Middle Eastern" ??

I am middle eastern, but I put white... Actually.. I am in the part of the middle east, where I can qualify as an african (technically), and one of my friends has done that.

Honestly.. I dont think it really matters. Doesnt help or hurt your chances unless the person reading it has some bias against or for middle easterners.
