Are there any good rad onc societies that med students could join and that might look good on cv's? thanks.

Once you get ASTRO membership, you can get junior ESTRO membership for around $50 (http://www.estroweb.org/ESTRO/upload/aboutESTRO/MembershipForm2005.pdf) . That's a chunk of change together, but if you want to present data at ASTRO, ESTRO, or ASCO, the cost is a lot less for registration fees if you are a member.

i think youre missing the big picture here: if youre a med student who gets to present at astro, who the heck cares if it doesnt win an award? youre already a big big step ahead of most.studentdoc82 said:Does anybody know if there is any poster or abstract competition for ASTRO in which med students can participate? All I could find was competitions/ awards for residents. Thanks.
