ASTRO will let you join as a Associate member for $50 and get a year of the Red Journal for another $50 if you call them and tell them you are a med student, or you can get it free online (
http://www.astro.org/about_astro/membership_information/apply.htm). Once you get ASTRO membership, you can get junior ESTRO membership for around $50 (
http://www.estroweb.org/ESTRO/upload/aboutESTRO/MembershipForm2005.pdf) . That's a chunk of change together, but if you want to present data at ASTRO, ESTRO, or ASCO, the cost is a lot less for registration fees if you are a member.
