Hi all,
I know that a lot of you know about Radio Rounds already, as we frequently get emails from SDN posters! But from the sound of it (and because we've been off the air during the summer), there are still a lot of people who haven't heard about it.
So, just as a very brief introduction (rather than a full-blown advertisement!)... it's a weekly radio show that is produced by medical students (such as myself) and is sponsored by the good folks here at SDN -- hence the weekly message in the "Notices" section that you can currently see near the top of this page. This is a show that we produce for YOU (i.e. premed students), as well as med students across the country. Anyone can listen online, and we also have free podcasts on iTunes.
You can see a list of upcoming guests on our blog as well -- www.radiorounds.blogspot.com -- and we'll be featuring some admissions directors on the show this fall as well. This is where you all come in! Let us know if you have suggestions or ideas about pre-med segments. There is even a separate Radio Rounds forum set up here on SDN, where you can post any thoughts/opinions that you may have -- http://forums.studentdoctor.net/forumdisplay.php?f=605 .
