Is it considered a bad sign if you are having an ultrasound and the tech calls the radiologist in to look at something, instead of having him/her just review the video later?

No. Some places, the radiologist routinely comes in and takes a look him/herself. Some places, they come only if they have questions about some of the images the tech has taken (not necessarily something abnormal, just better delineation of the structure in question and also if they see an abnormality).

BTW, why don't you wait for the actual result instead of worrying?

Because I'm a pre-med. 😀

Seriously, I'm worrying because it involves my ovaries and therefore I'm worrying about my fertility. And because I've had two other USs before and the dude never came in to look at something before. 😳

I'm sure I'll get a call today and it won't be as bad as I'm thinking it will be.

But thanks for the reassurance. 😉
