I've seen many conflicting opinions on getting LORs from radiologists. I also know that many programs do require one. I decided to do radiology later during third year, after I had already used my research block with another field of medicine. I had also already done the radiology selective, which, while a month long, does not give students more than a day or two with an attending (most time was spent working with residents or in lectures).
So, it's looking like I'm not going to have a lec letter from radiology. Does anyone know if there is a list somewhere that says whether or not a program wants a radiology letter?
Am I going to have to work at Wal-Mart for a year after med school?
