I received an e-mail from the Medical College of Wisconsin today...I didn't apply there, but it sounds as if they are offering a secondary application. Anyone else receive this letter?

I got it. It's just a recruiting letter based on MCAT.

I got it too. Does anyone know anything about the school? Maybe I could learn to like cheese and the Packers??

I got it too. Does it even matter what your mcat was for them to recruit you?

I think its written in the email that it is based on MCAT scores.

Someone posted that they received the email with an MCAT score in the low twenties.

The school is attempting to make a name for itself. This gets the name out and maybe attracts more out of state applicants serving to increase both applicant pool and possible matriculant stats, although I don't know about the low 20's thing. It is a nice school in a good Milwaukee suburb. Its affiliated with a hospital on the same campus, there are no undergrads, medical and grad school only. Cheese and the Packers, along with beer and brats are pure bliss, come only if you think you can handle it.

I got the email....and a low 20's MCAT!.......maybe they like me for my age, and the fact that I am married w/ children............YEAH RIGHT!

i got that too... haha, and i thought they thought my mcat score was really good... oh well
