getting caught up here....i did this too. i actually bought last year's book though, before i knew there would be a newer one coming out. i'm not getting another one though, b/c i doubt much has changed. (plus the stats don't include specifics for md/phd besides if they have the program and how many matriculated).

i have a small tattoo that i just got a few months ago...it's on my left hip area and you really wouldn't be able to see it even if i was wearing a bikini (well, ok, maybe if it was a string bikini). i'm not much of a fan of visible tattoos.

as far as piercings go...just the ears...two holes in the left and one on the right (used to be 3 on the left and 2 on the right but the top ones closed up).

I've got ear piercings and I had a navel piercing (I got it back before everyone and their dog had one) but I took it out recently.

I'm thinking about getting a tattoo on my foot - and icthus made of the greek words for the verse in Matthew 25: Whatever you have done for the least of these you have done for me.

I wasn't about to read all those backpages but I thought I would share what I ate yesterday:
1 1/2 pots of fair trade coffee - gingerbread! Yum!
2 breakfast tacos w/ egg and potato and salsa
some chips and queso
pasta and mixed steamed veggies
tons and tons of OJ

Mmmmmmmm - ulcery goodness.

I'm amazed at how well-endowed all of you girls are. :laugh: At age 12, I was totally flat. I'm still fairly thin, but as a pre-teen/teenager, I was like a stick. I seriously didn't hit puberty until I was halfway through high school. At this point, I would say that my body is proportional, which is the most important thing, but there are certain clothing styles that just look better on people who have something to hold them up with. 😛

Here's a random idiosyncrasy about me for you: even though I grew up in Florida, which is seriously the home of oranges and orange juice, I don't like orange anything. I never drink OJ. Even as a kid, I'd only drink apple juice.
As an adult, I started liking cranberry juice better. The only citrus that I like is tangerines or tangelos or those little clementine oranges that come from Spain. Those are fantastic. Come to think of it, they should be in season soon. 😀

ooh, i love tangerines and clementines. mandarini are really great too (they're just a bit smaller than clementines and sweeter).

I had barely any boobs in HS - probably because of my weight training. But I got to college and BAM - from barely an A to a C and a half. It might sound big but I'm so tall it's just in proportion with my body.

i used one of those for my prom dress. it was fine, but the shape was kind of weird. i probably should have just gone without one.

When I had my reduction, wanted to be a C. Hubby kept saying "They're not miracle workers!" :meanie: I just asked my surgeon to go as small as possible...I ended up with Ds. I'm still overwhelmingly pleased though.

OMG. 😱 PW, that is just seriously OOC (out of control).

Ana, I think Cs are good, especially for a tall girl. I'm not that tall, and maybe Cs would look silly on me. But it would be a nice problem to have. 😀

In all seriousness, I think the best thing to do is to accentuate whatever your best features are, and not accentuate the ones that maybe aren't as nice. So I never wear low-cut tops, or strapless tops, because it just doesn't look that good on me. On the other hand, I can get away with wearing miniskirts and halter tops, because those emphasize your limbs and midsection more. Don't have a heart attack, BB; I don't go micromini. :meanie:

All right, girls (and Brett, if you're around), I need to go to the doctor's office. Yesterday, I couldn't take blood pressures because I didn't hear the glub sound I'm ostensibly supposed to hear. I tried to tell the MA I was practicing on that the reason why I couldn't hear it is because she didn't HAVE a pulse, but she insisted that SHE could hear it. 😛 Hopefully I'll be able to hear it today. If not, well, I'll just make up a pulse for her, that's all. :meanie:

I'm checking my grades online and I got a 15/25 on my last A&P lab - WTF????? Brought my grade from a 94% to 92% 😡

I thought I did it all and did it right! Have to wait until class to see it.

We have an exam on the heart, cardiovascular system, lymphatic system, AND all major arteries, veins, and lymph ducts.

Geez.

My brain is full.

i vvould have gone vvithout, but i didn't vvant the headlights to be on all night, ya knovv?

and the funny thing is, i coulda just used some tape and all vvould have been fine. if you press it against something that's relatively dirt/dust free and then place it on you, vvhen its time to take off, no pain. 👍

In order to prove I'm not a ridiculous eater here is my food intake today:
1 bottle of crystal light lemonade
1 mini bagel with peanut butter
1 salmon cake
1 baked potato
1 orange
1 98% fat free ice cream sandwich.

Enough fiber for you Lil?
