i was born in cali and i have a bunch of family there but it is a strange place. My relatives over there are such a buncha yuppies 😛 Have some lawyers that recently dropped over 700K on a normal 3 bedroom house.....wtf here in amish land you could have a mansion and sexy pool boy for that kinda $$

I am so nervous about starting residency tomorrow - can't sleep, am sick to my stomach! (From nerves). Must settle down. *calm* *calm*

Now I'm down to 3 hrs of sleep. Yay.

90 in a 75 😳 This was my ticket back in March or so. I plead guilt and it going to be expounged from my record b/c I did community service, paid the fine, and it was my first offense. The guy was an ass. I was late to class and he didn't really care. 🙁 Dude I was in teh middle of NOWHERE.

I'm a safe driver, honestly. Everyone is like why don't you have a radar dector. My parents had one and for long trips I would occasionally borrow it but I think its a waste of time. I'm observant when I'm on the road and see them most of the time before they hit. This guy was going the OPPOSITE way and came up over a hill and BAM. Got me. I didn't know that the stupid troopers in OK were THAT desparate that he'd do a U-turn in the grass and get me. Seriously.

Ok, just droppin in to say hi. Haven't been on much lately due to MCAT studying and other errands. I'll be around later to look at a couple people's personal statements. But other then that hope everyone's doing well. I'll probably be coming on less often, except for Monday/Tuesday when your all's scores come out to see how everyone did.

Also, GOOD LUCK A-MAN!!!!!! You are going to kick the USMLE step 1 in the rear behind!!!!!!!

Good luck DR. BEARY MD, PHD!!!!!!! You'll do awesome on your first days and get into the groove soon enough.

And to those waiting for scores, its only 3-4 more days now!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :luck: :luck: :luck:

From what I understand, they've sold the Rolling Rock label to Anheuser-Busch, but AB has not purchsed the brewery. I guess they're close to selling it, but I'm not sure what's going to happen to the brewery itself. But rolling rock will no longer be produced there, so it's definitely a sad day. (I hate rock too, but it's sad for that area)

Anheuser-Busch bought it, it's gonna be made in dirty jersey (newark), which is very sad :meanie:

also, not sure who will buy the brewery, but i'm sure someone will because it's freaking huge

i may very well just wait til i get it in the mail. i can never remember my id to log on. which is bad cause amcas will never get finished.

it was only a few days ago when i finally checked out my grades from the spring.
