Maybe only slightly injured...🙁

YOu don't think you did too well? VR killed me. 🙁 For some reason I messed up my timing. I thought it was 11 passages so I spent 7 min/passage. I realized it when I had 70% of the exam done that I had 1/2 the time left. Yea...

what form did you have?

Heh....NO! 😳 🙁

And it should have been easy. It was an air resistance/kinematics passage set. (Is that within the Q rules to say?)
general topics are fine. Just no specific questions or answers. 🙂

From what I remember from EK: acceleration stays the same for nearly all objects falling, at least from the start (right QofQ)? I don't think I had your question.

Dude. When you start doing E&M experiments to test that stuff, EK doesn't cut it.

EK needs more genetics. We talked about autosomal stuff the night before. I wish I had brushed up more on that. 🙁

brett you are going to do great, watch. in all honesty the possibility that you dropped that low after killing every exam for the past 2 or 3 months is extremely remote. 🙂
Thanks for the confidence. Send me an MP3 of that so I can just listen to that for the next 60 days.

How was the testing site? I got lost on the way to mine! 😱 UCF SUCKS! It's just a bunch of circles within circles! I'm used to grids 😡 I eventually found it along with another guy who got lost, too (turned out he wasn't a UCF student either).

The testing was in the individual rooms of the building and no one used the auditorium. 17 students, including me, where in my room (only lastname S). The timing the lady did was TERRIBLE. She wouldn't write down the start and end times on the board and just looked at the clock at whatever random time (not even the second hand at noon) to start. She actually lost track of time for WS 2nd part, she said 5 minutes at the 15 minute mark. Everyone started to get freaked out, but I had to tell her we had 15 left, lol. The second lady in the room confirmed.

Other than that, very quiet, at least for our room. We were at the end of the hall. Everyone else's rooms were passed during breaks by the toher students (except ours) so they got distracted I think. Their proctors got pissed at the passerbys. The a/c was nicely set, too, and the desks were ample. 🙂

The poster looked fantastic. Only 2 people ever stopped long enough to get an explanation though. Guess thats both good and bad.
That's the norm. I have to confess that I"m the same way. I'll read the abstract, and a lot of times I'll just keep going after the first few sentences. 😛 If it sounds interesting, I might read the conclusions too. That's about it though. Most people do that. You don't have time to study every poster in depth.

Acceleration is constant for all falling objects: 10 m/s^2

Right?

Yes, but he said air resistance was in the question. As far as I know, if you "extrapolate" (if I'm using the word correctly), accleration will slow down depending on certain factors (I think size is one since it's not a vacuum).

Anywho, thanks to QofQ, too, for the orgo. It went well. 🙂 Maybe 1 question about H NMR was was unsure of. Everything else made sense.

Oh yea, today was also my first WS ever. Never practiced it. I'd be VERY happy with a 3/6. I finished each on 20 minutes to give myself a longer break before bio. I got a little nap in there. 🙂

jeez... i just stepped into chat and they are all talking about some genetics problem. they ignored me when i said hi. 🙁
You're an old man, now, A-man. I mean, to me you're still a bratty little kid, but to a college junior, you're ancient. 😉

okay I'm bored with watching the post-MCAT freak out. I'm going to sign on to AIM and you guys let me know if you decide to have a chat later. 😀

I'm done venting. My friend's cell phone (Cingular CRAP, my old one) isn't working so I can't call his place! 😡 I want to get out of here and DO something. lol

QofQuimica, I don't think I've read before, but which med school do you go to? If you don't want to list particulars, which State? Any reason you left FL? I remember you saying that UF is rightfully called a swamp. LOL!

I am not posting where I go on SDN, so that's why you haven't seen it. But basically I picked my school based on the program and the financial aid package I got. The geography had nothing to do with it; I didn't apply anywhere I didn't want to move (i.e., out west).
