Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's the thread!

Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Congratulations to everyone who made Part 4 such a kickass thread!!!

And thank you to the ever generous, intelligent, lovely, and kind Nichole, who let me start the thread even though she won the last one. 🙂

What are you guys doing for Labor Day?

No plans yet. I've been on vacation for a week now ( :meanie: MCAT finally done). Summer seemed to shoot right on by. I can't even remember it because of all the studying. I'm actually pretty tired of NOT doing anything really productive like school, research, volunteering, etc. Not sure I'll take Labor Day weekend in such a relaxing way. I'll be on the search for a job or volunteer work!

For a honeymoon, honestly I would recommend sticking to something familiar. If you want something exotic, go somewhere you've already been. If you take the honeymoon right after the wedding, there's so much that you've been planning for that you're kind of fried during that time.

i'm so glad we went to Disney and did all the Orlando stuff. We're both extensive world travelers, but I can't imagine sitting through the flights and the irritating stuff of non-familiarity during that time. We've traveled together overseas and it was fun, but we were fully relaxed at that time.

During our honeymoon, we chose to just relax and have fun since we were so stressed the months leading up to the wedding (and with school, work, etc.).

That's just my view on it, though!

9 months. My first job was there after grad school 🙂 Plus, I was married to a Kiwi once.

Yeah that's definitely plenty of time to explore...everyone's telling us that 2 weeks is definitely not enough time to stay there....Australia I mean.

I agree about going to somewhere familiar and do exotic stuff after.....since you have many years of exotic traveling ahead of you.[/

No definite plans here too. Maybe camping, but who knows. Something cheap.

Well, our 2nd string QB threw ANOTHER interception, fantastic. At least the guy who intercepted it is from UF, too, and we went at the same time (D. Webb).

MM, Isn't cruising fun...fun...fun?!!!!!!

Just can't wait to go on vacation......thank god it's in between my MCAT prep...perfect timing!

We're both non-travellers so we were thinking about going somewhere foreign or exotic. Maybe Atlantis Resort in the Bahamas where it is all inclusive and just kick back and relax.

That's where I'm going....but going on Norwegian. (I think they have different ports of call, though).

I really liked Cozumel and Grand Cayman. Belize was good, too -- wish we'd had longer there.

I would definitely like to try a different cruise line -- we didn't really have any problems with Carnival, but basically we went with them because they were the cheapest and we wanted to figure out if we actually liked cruising before spending more money on a better line.

I'm just taking a break (got a phone call). I'm tivoing it and will catch up. So don't tell me who wins. 😀

Are you going to Tivo the F1 race tomorrow morning? Check the TV guide to see if they'll replay "Inside Grand Prix" on Speed TV, too. They do an episode specific to each track. It'll show you some stuff about it, pretty cool. 👍

he's bitching about dinner and how he doesn't like some of the stuff that's in it... and saying I should get him dinner?

how on earth does that make sense?

and where is my beer?

Your roomie clearly needs a reality check.

If you find your beer, throw me one!

The beer sounds great. The cleaning, not so much. 🙁

so i was supposed to have a bbq today. but the weather didn't cooperate... and everyone backed out 🙁 so needless to say... i'm pissed

I don't think I would like a cruise. I think I would feel stuck, and I get motion sick. If I did go on one, I would go to Alaska.
I didn't think I would get motion sick. The first few days I didn't really feel nauseated, but I didn't feel quite right, either. I took a Dramamine and life improved remarkably, so I suppose I did have some low-grade motion sickness going on. Plus I got the best sleep of my entire life. It was the weirdest thing -- if I was up and doing things I felt great and had plenty of energy, but the minute I stopped moving I was out like a light. Quite a change for Insomnia Girl. 🙂

I was a little worried about feeling claustrophobic on the ship, but it wasn't a problem for me. They're so freaking huge!!

Wow dude, you're only 20, but if that's what you want and if you're both happy. I remember when I was 20 (last year  !), I never thought about it. Then my friend got engaged at 21 later that semester. Crazy stuff.
When you hit your 4 year dating mark, people start to ask questions.

After the Bucs put in their second string, they blew an 11-0 lead. We lost 29-18 🙁 We got a TD with 9 seconds left after the first one was overturned! At least our first string defense seems up to the job for the season. I can't wait. 👍

as you get older, that dating mark gets shorter. i was getting the marriage queries after two years... and this was only a few years ago

Looks like I've doubled 2nd place. Time for me to head to bed. 7:30 AM EDT F1 Grand Prix of Turkey in Istanbul. Hope you guys enjoy it as much as I will! 😉
