Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

I literally spent all of summer (from June 22nd, not when I finished school) for the mcat. Terrible.

On day I grilled outside in the 30s, at like 7AM. My roommates said I was crazy. One of them said "you know, if it was a Saturday and there was an early football game, I could understand, but not on a Thursday school day."

That's one example of how crazy I was on eating the same 5 meals a day at specific times. 😀

man i miss those days. i am gonna get so little sleep tonight its sick. i have a few minutes now before rounds but then i have to come back home, create a presentation and then get together 5 cases from my past 6 weeks and memorize everything about them for tomorrows oral exam. this week sucks sooooo bad.

I love the weather that TX has around the end of November. Nice and cool so that you can be perfectly comfortable in a sweat shirt/sweater and not freeze if you're outside all day. Perfect football weather 👍

Unfortunately not recently. Yesterday my friends and I grilled for Labor Day. I had soda, hamburgers, hot dogs, star crunch, chips, the good stuff. 🙂

Snow is just fun for the first few times but it totally sucks when it starts to melt and becomes a slushy.

Do you think they want published papers? All I've really done research-wise was 2 years of mainly protocol work and some experimenting on my own to get the grad student's experiments to work...

I think you can do research during the summer while you're in med school, esp summer after 1st and 2nd yr....anyway, that's what the med students told me when I went to some open houses.
