Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's the thread!

Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Evo, you are at UT-SA, right? I have a friend who just started there this fall. I may be going out that way sometime in the next few months to visit him and another friend who lives out in SA (but not a med student)!

hey random freaks! 😉

just saying hello and goodnight. i finished my oncology presentation for tomorrow but now i have to dig up all the info on 3 more of my cases from this rotation for my oral exam tomorrow. i am so freaking screwed, my oral is at 9am and i've yet to sit down with all 5 cases and truly get them down. *slams head into desk*

and beary- speaking of digging out old stuff, you missed seeing the cast I pulled off my broken arm when I was under 18 mos.

Okay, here is something that completely cracks me up about men (at least my husband!)

He cannot talk on the phone and do anything else at the same time. If our daughter asks for a drink, he tells the person "hold on" keeps the phone at his ear but stops talking to pour the drink. Then when he's done pouring the drink, he starts talking again.

Ummm, I can talk on the phone and pour a drink at the same time. It just cracks me up everytime he does this! :laugh:

NO WAY!!?!??!?!!?! WHEN?!?!!? I'm DVRing all the current episodes (they are showing from 2.5 right now) and haven't gotten to watch this past weekends one yet. They've been showing a little more each time though 😍

I can't wait for it! We're goign to have a party that night? right? 😀

Seriously. Men just can't do the same things women can do (and there is statistical evidence to PROVE IT). I have to keep telling myself this when I ask the man to do something :laugh: Kinda pathetic though, eh? 😉

I've been wanting something sweet all night long...chocolate, ice cream, cake anything....but had to settle for hot cocoa 🙁 ....just doesn't hit the spot.

DQ makes ice cream cakes. 😀 I'm soooooo getting one of those for my and my daughter's birthdays this month (they are one day apart so we'll share a cake).
