Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's the thread!

Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Congratulations to everyone who made Part 4 such a kickass thread!!!

And thank you to the ever generous, intelligent, lovely, and kind Nichole, who let me start the thread even though she won the last one. 🙂

I don't like the new post count. I feel like I reach a milestone when it says 1000+.....not it just shows the total # of post. 🙁

Okay guys off to do errands. Da-donut....hope you find good deals for your hard drive.

i'm back

went to the store, guy said he didnt know where the one I was looking for was and that they were getting a shipment of stuff tonite so it might come in then. Bah waste of time driving out there. Why do they put crap in their flyers if it isn't already in the store? Maybe it was there and the sales associate I was talking to was a *****. who knows. I think I'll just buy it online cause its a good deal. Dude didn't believe me at first that it was so cheap until I showed him the flyer.

hows everyone else doing?

i have to go grocery shopping.

what are some basic items i should stock in my kitchen?
Milk, bread, cheese, cereal, ummmm chicken (goes with everything lol). Pasta, maybe some frozen pizzas....I think i could survive quite well on that

If you watch TV quite a bit or have certain shows you enjoy, then yes. For me, I wouldn't. This is because the only shows I watch are pretty popular and show up on torrents the next day.
I'm thinking it will be since my g/f and I are TV junkies and we both are going to be seemingly busy at nights. Not to mention The Office and Grey's Anatomy are in competition so we have to find a way to watch both.

I like convinence. I watch them when I want. I have quite a few shows I tape.

I'll share my list, well maybe. :meanie:

My friend has a DVR. I'd always go to his place and just record shows, haha. That was when I used to watch a bunch of tv. It came in handy because I could watch some NBA as I'm recording LOST. Since I don't have it anymore (we had it here for a couple months), I just download the episodes of LOST, F1 racing, Conan, etc, and watch stuff live NFL or NBA over it. I sometimes burn the episodes on CDs in case I ever want to watch it again. I have all my school's NCAA games from Elite 8 and on for UF on CD. 🙂

I'm not a big fan of downloading things. Too many viruses and stuff. My computer has thus far stayed clean :knock on wood:

That's a big price difference. Why between those two?
The first is $75 off and the second is $100 off, which is why I'm choosing between these 2 because they're the best price for what you're getting. The second is $60 more expensive, but its an extra 50GB (however 200GB is more than enough so i dont think I need the 250GB). At the same time however Western Digital seems like a better brand than I/O Magic

I'd look for some online reviews to see how they are with customers.

I've downloaded probably over 300 gigs of TV shows and the like with no viruses through bit torrent. I know of viruses that go through P2P programs like eMule/Donkey, Lime Wire, crap, etc. Those are garbage. This is absolutely impossible in torrents.
