Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's the thread!

Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Congratulations to everyone who made Part 4 such a kickass thread!!!

And thank you to the ever generous, intelligent, lovely, and kind Nichole, who let me start the thread even though she won the last one. 🙂

just curios did you ever consider being an astronaut instead of a dr?

I still dream of being a fighter pilot (who can then become an astronaut), but not directly an astronaut. I wanted to fly the F-14 Tomcats, but they were retired this summer. If I don't get into med school, I will seriously consider it. One reason I don't pick it over med school right now is because I feel I have a better chance at med school (I like both equally).

On top of that, I have to make a minimum 4 yr committment if I don't even become a pilot to the military. Plus, it's highly competitive for the fighter positions. I don't think I'd even pass their health requirements because I can't run endlessly if my life depended on it (they also want me to do 60 pullups and 60 sit ups in a minute, crazy).

i love the Polish people, though. I had such fun over there - the people, the food, the drink! Awesome!

I've kind of endeared myself to the Polish.

My ex and I still keep in touch in a non-weird way. He is a prof. in computer science at MSU-Bozeman, but i have an open invitation for my husband and I to travel with him and his wife to Poland if we ever feel the urge.

ok that explains the polish i though you were because you spoke the language . silly assumption i m sorry

Nah, it's cool. I speak some Spanish too, probably the same level for both languages. I'm losing my Polish though because I don't speak it very much anymore and it's not my native language (English) whereas I have a few Spanish-speaking clients that keep me on my toes.

its somewhat sur-real because med school is a yr away ( that is if i get in0 and there alot of studying between now and then but i will do whatever it takes to get in

i ve wanted to be a dr since i was little

Ah, I started to get interested when I was about 13. Here's the actual timeline of the careers I've wanted.

1) Garbage man (until 5 years old I think) - seriously still pretty cool I think. Hanging off the bakc of the trucks.
2) Delta pilot (5 until still now I guess) - I've always loved going on flights to travel. Anything with airplanes was cool.
3) Small business owner (around 12-14) - my dad has his own and I liked how he could set his own times and stuff. He likes his job.
4) Doctor (13 til now) - had a chance to volunteer at a hospital and have loved that stuff since.

it would be alot easier if certain individuals in my individual family would stop badgering me about not getting in because of my grade C's
