Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's the thread!

Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Congratulations to everyone who made Part 4 such a kickass thread!!!

And thank you to the ever generous, intelligent, lovely, and kind Nichole, who let me start the thread even though she won the last one. 🙂

I probably average 3 hours a day online. I play while on SDN most of the time. It's unhealthy but its something to do to pass time and procrastinate HW.

Damn! No wonder you pop in every once in a while kind of sporadically. It must've sucked for you a lot before Aug 19th! At least your practice looks to be paying off.

Caffeine was never my thing. Couldn't get into it either.

Sometimes I wish I never started drinking coffee....I started when I was in grammar school.....saw my mom drinking it and she never told me to stop.......alas, here I am with caffeine addiction.....

hmm sounds like an interesting expt i once did a similar expt found out that my mogrates were triggered by bright sunlight

it's not about weight, it's about boob size. I have a very petite friend who looked totally out of proportion, so she had a reduction. she looks awesome now.

and it sure as HELL ain't about what the guys want if it's really causing problems!

She said she was having back problems, but she was already pretty overweight. She said she just wanted them gone and didn't try to work it off (I guess it would take too long for her). I lost 25 lbs after I gained that much from surgery in about 2 months. (shrugs) I was very determined and focused at that time.

I think it would be easy to quit, along with smoking, but in the end I think it's easy because of personalities. Mine isn't addictive at all (imo). Even if I tried to prove to someone by picking up smoking and then stopping, it wouldn't work. Because when I stop cold turkey, they'd say "you were never addicted because you haven't been smoking long enough." Meh...

I, on the other hand, have a bit of weight to lose, too- but no major back problems, so no medical reason to do a reduction at this time, which would mean $$$$$$$$. (If you do have documented back probs, insurance may pay.)

My other issue is that if I shrink the top, my big ass will look totally out of proportion. 😳 😀

Me too Rad. I would sit at the table and drink with my mother and grandmother. It felt so natural.

Yeah....let's not even talk about smoking....although I don't need a cigarette for a longggggggg time and don't have to buy a pack (+ hubby doesn't smoke), once I see a friend who smokes or I'm at the bar, I have to take a drag.

I remember when I started to drop weight like crazy, I had to start using belts again after 5 months without needing to. It felt so good. 😀 Let me know if you want to know my routine, it's very boring, but it did the job. 🙂

addiction is very much about the behavior though- ie, there's something very soothing about the process of lighting a cigarette, or of making a pot of coffee. once you get past the physical withdrawal, there's a lot of behavioral stuff that has to change.

So since smoking is much worse......coffee addiction can't be so bad, lol.

Speaking of losing weight...I have lost 5 of the 10 pounds I put on during MCAT study time. 🙂

The taste of cigarette + coffee is so damn good!!! I know many would disagree.

As someone who had the procedure done in October and insurance paid...it is not a matter of weight. In fact, none of the criteria for insurance coverage had anything to do with weight.

So have I, but that's not a good thing at all. 🙁 The lack of exercise made me lose muscle and replaced it with fat. I picked up my work out routine yesterday again. I finally have time and it feels great. 🙂

Ha, everyone I knows has literally said I'm crazy because of what I do. They don't understand why and say that pets are supposed to eat the same thing everyday. 😀 I was dead set on increasing my metabolism and I did it!
Congrats! As long as what you're eating is nutritionally complete (I assume it is) then what's their problem?? 😕

Are you serious?!?! I can see why one would say coffee SMELLS good, but that's about it for me.

Hookah can taste good as I've tried that before many times, but when I tried cigarettes, blah...

I cut out soda and fatty foods. If I eat sugar it is natural...like fruit. The sugar part if the hardest for me cause I love sweets. I have been working out for one hour five days a week. I love working out, so that is not the hard part for me.

what the hell, why not. send it on. just adjust it for a female 10 yrs older than you and we have a deal.

My mom thinks it's going to make me sick for eating the same thing everyday. 😕 Her and her friend say it will mess up my immune system, riiiight. I kept telling her everything gets broken down to fats, proteins, and carbs...

Btw, this is what I ate throughout the day: 6 egg whites, 3 slices whole wheat bread, apple, 1,000+ calories of brown rice, combined 1 lb of grilled chicken (sometimes fish, but that's expensive), banana, steamed veges. These were broken down to 5 meals separated by 3 hours each.

Edit: Oh yea, and a multi viatmin and a gallon of water. I haven't done this for a LONG time as I've been doing MCAT. Now it's time to restart.

Yeah I smoked a lot during college, plus my friends were smoking....funny 'cause 4 stopped way back, 2 are still heavy and I'm occasional. Thankgoodness hubby doesn't...helps a lot.

Hookah is okay.....tried it once....don't get the same feel....too light.
