Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeere's the thread!

Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

Congratulations to everyone who made Part 4 such a kickass thread!!!

And thank you to the ever generous, intelligent, lovely, and kind Nichole, who let me start the thread even though she won the last one. 🙂

Okay, based on a description I found, it appears to be Tango Orange (partially made with real oranges). The name sounds familiar, but the image of the cans I found are not it. Maybe they changed the design in the last 4 years...

I was thinking Orangina-

Oh yea, that's the word I was looking for: "pulp." I said "fiberous" interior. That drink doesn't even hold a candle to Sunkist. It's not nearly as sweet and good.

JLW, that bulmers logo looks just like the magners logo. are they the same thing?
why yes, yes they are! but it's Bulmers in Ireland, apparently. my friend's mother is from near Clonmel, where the brewery is. her cousin just got a job there last year, which makes him her new best friend. (he still can't get her in for a tour, though. 🙁 )

We didn't do much in England since we were there for 2 nights and 3 days. First day was spent at the wedding. The following day was sight seeing in London. We went on the double-decker bus and I saw a McLaren F1 in their showroom from above. I had to get off the next stop and ran to it to see it. First one I've seen in person, so awesome. I have some pics (I'll host them up real soon). We then went to I think "Body Works" or something called that. I'm sure you've all heard it and proably been to it. The german guy who uses "plastination" to preserve people's bodies, but actually it's just replacing their tissue with colored plastic, only bones are original. Very cool exhibit. The next day we took the train back.

hey people! the gyn oncology people sent us home early since the school cancelled all clinical activities after 5PM today and all day tomorrow. i'm just gonna go hang out with fam later since a 17th floor apt with lots of windows is not really the best place to be for a hurricane.

Hooray for extra time off! Have fun and stay safe!!!

It was on Park Lane btw. They've closed that particular location and the car is now sold an in Singapore. It was the last brand new one they had and it had been sitting for 5+ years. Only delivery miles and it sold for $2mm.

Did I just lose my main Florida correspondant? 🙁 I'm glad they gave you off. Stay safe (and keep me updated 😛 )
