Not sure what the Random thread is all about? Well, here's the answer to all your questions.

It's basically a restaurant. That serves breaststicks. And lots of cute fruit and veggies. And is patronized by a HO. And Tucker Carlson. Vin Diesel, too. Lots of race car drivers eat here, as well. We're very well respected by the Amish... one girl in particular is here almost all the time.

The food is great if you're low on iron. It's not on the menu, but you can ask about the special secret garlic cure home recipe. One of the hostesses often makes weather predictions, but she's not always around. I think she has another job with the government. Or a government. Something like that. One of the other hostesses says "Bitch, please," a lot, but she's joking... don't take it personally.

Forget anything you've heard about the girl who died here from arsenic poisoning. That was a long time ago, and she's still alive, anyway... just busy so she doesn't come in as much. Besides, a little arsenic adds a lot of flavor to just about any dish.

Pretty flowers by the entrance, hey? Lilis, they are. Beautiful. And the music is totally hopping... we have our very own DJ. Looks a little like Brad Pitt.

I guess that's pretty much all you need to know. I'm usually in the corner booth over there drinking a nice glass of wine. You're welcome to join me, anytime. We're open 24/7.

In previous years, the National Hurricane Center has had these nifty little graphs with wind speed forecasts and the probabilities that it would be higher or lower than forecast. I don't see that anymore. 🙁

Now there is just some table that I don't understand. I can see that Ernesto is supposed to hit TX or LA, in 4-5 days, but where is the wind speed forecast? Mush? 😕

just relaxing. thinking of watching a movie...still havn't seen V for Vandetta. 12am here. I wonder when I should be going to bed early again to get myself back into a sleep schedule for school. I can't believe I only have one week of summer left. how lame 🙁

hmmm. f1 qualifying on at 5am local time then premiership soccer on at 6am. do i go to sleep and try to wake up.....likely not being able to, or do I just stay up and go to bed sometime tomorrow, which seems kinda dumb

granted, I had to get up at 5:20 anyway. but waking up at 4:45 does not make for a happy camper. and we have lightning this morning, and one was so bright and so close that I swear if it didn't hit in my backyard, it was in my neighbor's. :scared: 😎

Nikki, histology girl!! 🙂

I am thinking about your epithelium studies. I thought this website looked pretty helpful, just for some examples of different types of epithelium and where they are found:

I can't find my histology atlas! I swear, I keep this at home since we have good ones at work. I hope I didn't take it into work, because somebody else will already have walked away with it.

Anyway, let me know if there is anything specific you get stuck on in histo and hopefully I can help. (Will be good for me as well - I need to just sit down and study histology like a med student again).

oh no!! How are you feeling this morning?

I hope your work day goes quickly. I am going to be so lazy. I'm going back to bed in a bit, going to do some shopping for my niece, and watch the NASCAR race at Bristol tonight. Those are my major daily plans. Plus try to minimize the sqaulor that is my house.

I do love me some lightning, tho. Mush and I have the storm infatuation in common. 👍

I'm feeling crappy again. I'll see which docs are working in the ED, and maybe talk with one of them. (I don't know most of them very well yet b/c I'm still kind of new. OH- and they're all pediatricians. 🙄 )

I must say that I am very impressed with your dedication to get up so early. I TiVo races that are at sort of inconvenient times and watch them as soon as I can.

lol, you won't believe this then: Back in Fall 2004, I was at the UF-LSU football game. It ended at midnight and I didn't have a car with me (hitched a ride). The bus routes ended and I had to get back to my apt ASAP for the Chinese Gp at 1 AM. I was speeding walking as fast as I could. Probably 3 miles in about 30-35 minutes. 🙂 I got there in time.

So the results are Ferrari in 1st and 2nd spot with Fisi in the Renault in 3rd. Should make a good race tomorrow.

It's pretty funny because right now I have long hair and a full beard like Luke does in that movie. No huge Ray Bans or anything, though.

i'm surprised I was able to wake up 5am to watch the qualifying. watching soccer right now. liverpool vs. west ham (2-1 halftime)
